Room4 Experiment: ROBOTS
In 1963 Paik had the idea of building a radio controlled robot to use as a “Mechanical perfomer” That’s sentence from the exhibition interested me on the way how remote control the robot. What’s if we had a robot which control the human how it gonna effect our lives.
After i have a look on the Telly robot family. That’s remind me of my family there were a really old ones which look like my dad and a tall one likes two of my older brothers and a very cute, unique and sweet which is look like me. This also giving me the ideas of how my family reads the tale story when i went to bed every night since i was little. I am kinda forget about that feelings. When were their stop padding my back and read the story for me? It’s would be nice if i could do the project and used my family to be involved.

Lots of company were putting too much product out there, most of that product ending up in landfill. Fast fashion allow consumers to buy more, but they’re wearing these garment less often and disposing of them at an unprecedented rate. Majority of it will go to Africa and Dubai. In Britain, more than 300,000 tonnes of clothes end up every year. It’s the fastest-growing category of waste in the country. The problem became more globally. It’s one of the most polluting in the world as a fast fashion industry were creating a product that people don’t need by stimulating demand and creating this sense that if you don’t buy it now, it’s not going to be available. There’s a thin line between price and quality that is an unsustainable model.
Business of high street fashion price is the Queen, so brands and retailers were trying to find the suppliers who can make their clothes at the lowest price. To produce an item of clothing at a very cheap price, the employees were not get paid and had to work on terrible working conditions. There were a Bangladesh sweatshops producing clothes for retailers from around the world. Were collapse on 13 May 2013 more than a thousand workers were crushed to death. The retailers are interested in is getting their clothes produced at the lowest possible price and the quickest reasonable deadline it's not about the people inside the industry it's just about the profit that can be made.

OUR STORY
'BOTTLETOP is a British social enterprise and foundation empowering artisans through the design and creation of sustainable luxury goods while raising funds for health education projects. We work with traditional artisans, sustainable material producers, and established brands to bring attention to issues we care about. ' BOTTLETOP
According to the message of the brand, I could feel the brand was trying to bubble up the things that we could easily find, or some people even called it a bin. We all can be accessed to the top of the can bottle, but we barely pay attention to it. I like the idea of how the brand recycles the found object. which make me want to use easy and found object to be the main opponent of this project.

G-DRAGON
PEACEMINUSONE - a brand from Korean artist, rapper and a member of BIGBANG. The concept of the brand were to project another side of him that he wanted to portray to his fans.
"A Utopia that we have yet to reach"
A "Utopia" is defined as a perfect society or paradise. GD being the positive person that he is has hope that a Utopian community can be reached. Maybe through his influence? It could happen, but perhaps not in our lifetime. In essence, GD wants complete peace but he also knows that it will take some time. In a sense, we live in a false order. There always seems to be evil lurking around the corner to keep the Utopian society GD hopes for at bay. So we live our lives in this false peace even though we are aware something will always be missing: "PEACEMINUSONE".

His favourite part of fashion are accessories, He been using a found object which is so easy to find. he uses the paperclips to assembles his brand which I don't understand it at first. the way he uses something that we all could access to makes people remember it. He also defined as a fashion iconic so lots of were gathered on his ideas and it becomes trendy at that time. Sometimes it good to use found object from our surrounding. it's remarkable when people look at it and start to think about the things they were using before. I would like my final outcome for this project to create a connection between the audience and the works.

Material:
Based on a diagrid shell roof. A thin steel weaves together. I was looking at various type of tweed thin stainless. I find it structure interesting the way. The way how we put in under the light so it creates a shadow. If we combined it. As my prediction, I think it might be too heavy to put on the body. I am thinking about I might have to change too a material which gives a similar result.

SELFRIDGE HOT AIR: Material World
The content of this was meant to talk about the sustainability clothing we produced. It's delivery the message to the people to noticed that the pair of jeans or one of their sweater might cause a large amount of footprint. On this project, I had a material restriction which is the denim. After watched this video I just found out that Denim is one of the biggest polluters in the industry. That answers my question on the brief why it said a second-hand denim. Actually im thinking of buying the new denim for this project but through this video made me realise that is causing lots of footprints. Like they said "One pair of jeans takes 4,000 litres of the water to produce" It made realise that I shouldn't cause more pollution by trying to re-use the stuff I had.

Bearbrick Bio
Bearbrick (rendered Be@rbrick) is a collectible toy designed and produced by the Japanese company MediCom Toy Incorporated. The name is derived from the fact that the figure is a cartoon-style representation of a bear and that it is a variation of MediCom's Kubrick design. The at sign in the place of the letter a is a visual device that is a part of the Bearbrick brand, and as such, a trademark of MediCom Toy.[citation needed]
The figure is an anthropomorphized bear with an extremely simplified form and a pot belly. Each plastic figure features nine parts (widely referred to as toolsin the toy industry): head, torso, hips, arms, hands, and legs; These nine tools allow eight points of articulation: swivel head, swivel waist, ball joint arms, swivel wrists, and ball joint legs.

Wood, aluminium, iron, steel, leather, stones, adhesive tape, porcelain, hemp and sisal string, paint and lacquer.
It’s was like a noisy wind chime: rattles, clappers, a tin, a key, a wooden doll, a metal bolt and other subject whisper to one another. I like the way how each object was whispering the things to their friend; it’s like a telling a tale story when I was young. I want to do something which relates to the tale story in humour ways using the telly robots as a main character.

India ink on cloth
Paik was dipping his tie in a bowl of ink to use it as a ‘brush’. He made some drawing in a similar spirit, using only his tie. I would love to work like the way he works using only one material or maybe drawing by a found objects. I would love to experiment on different stuff I found on the street or from a bin. One day I might make an installation from the found object. There are so many things I could take from it.

Manefesto for Damien Poulain Project
Fashion trend has a rapid change recently. It is noticeable through the appearance of new clothes in the market these days, which leads to the dramatic increase in clothing productions. The term “fast fashion” then been used to describe this situation, where the retailers or brands trying to keep the customer attentions by always updating their products to match the trend. The result of this trend is responsible for the overproduction of some clothing design, while the sudden growth of the trend also makes the delayed-release products became unsold. The mass production continuously creates a huge amount of waste that finally end up in landfills every year. This new issue, unsurprisingly, exaggerates the ongoing problem of global warming in the world.
aim for Damien Poulain Project
I found myself before buying lots of clothes. I usually bought clothes from H&M and Zara back then they’re pretty affordable. After I noticed the pollution from fast fashion, I started to stop buying clothing from those brand and questioning things before I purchased. To tackle the throwaway culture, brands and consumers need to change their behaviours. This project was meant to encourage people to buy less, buy well and mend clothing for a longer life span. Makes people feel there were more option to stay beautiful and trendy there were a renting programme and also a charity shop were waiting for us to supporting them. It's nice how Poulain put the text on the flag and also it sit well on the banner the brief of this week was to make a banner me with my group (Summayyah, Sky) we thought of making a banner which might contain the text related to our research.

Fog and Dew Harvesting
I quite like the ideas how it harvests to catch water and purify it to make it clean. the way how thick net weave to it other goes up and down. it creates a very nice shape and also it leave the translucent negative space like a hole which I think it will look good on the sample and when we develop it into the body it reveals bits of the wearer skins. I want it to work like the way how chiffons, laces work but stronger than that.

Historical: KX station
The KX project has been highly demanding one for the McAslan team, headed by Adam Brown as Project director. It has dawned on all aspects of the practice expertise in the repair and reuse of existing historic buildings, in urban and landscape design, and in creating bold and innovative new structures all within the area with a complex pattern of use. The £275 million project is now being developed with a view to starting on site in 2005 and completed in 2009.
Form finding:
A huge disc of structure along the side of the station radiating out to welcome the visitor. It’s been designed using computer technology. A structure of thin steel weaves intricate three-way patterns over the vault. One direction running towards the entrance. The other two cross diagonally, pulling against the line of the first indicator. The result of the structure representing a retina of diamond.

DENIM was way too complicated than I thought. It does have a different texture in a different washed. I'm interest in a patchwork jean in 1965. It's had lots of details I could iron it on or pin it down seem to have what I want to do in this project, also the acid wash made me thinking of my previous trip to Switzerland it gives me a feeling of snow of the mountain top. I had a speck of dirt on my old pair of jeans, which is I am want to experiment in this project to see if the wash going to ruin the dirt or not.

Silent Madness Mowalola
Silent Madness is an immersive installation that marries Mowalola’s unique Nigerian punk-inspired aesthetic with her passion for musical expression. The result is a surrealist stage setting emerging from an explosion of colour accompanied by a multi-channel soundtrack curated by the visitor.
The gallery walls, floor and windows will be draped in swathes of fabric bearing a print designed by Mowalola specifically for the exhibition. The central floor area will be occupied by a plinth. A ‘band’ of mannequins covered entirely in black tar wearing outfits designed by Mowalola will take centre stage each ‘playing’ a tar-coated instrument ranging from guitars and drum kit to a piano.
Hollowed out speakers will house a set of 6 retro TV units showing 2-minute films directed by Jordan Hemingway. Upon entry, visitors will be issued with a set of headphones and an MP3 player with a pre-recorded 6 track playlist spanning a contrasting mix of genres. It will then be up to the individual which song they choose to inform their experience as they journey through Mowalola’s world.
The exhibition aims to disrupt and question preconceptions of normality whilst challenging traditional discourse surrounding African sexuality encouraging visitors to shed the pressures of convention and live life by their own terms.

Exhibition visit
I went to Now gallery on one purpose for looking at Silent Madness Mowalola. It seems to be confused for me to look at the work. The text mentioned given a headphone for a visitor, but the staff on-site didn't offer the headphone. I only have a chance to look at instalment. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand what the main purpose of the exhibition. I glance at the people playing instruments I loved how it covered with a black latex it looks surreal. The drape on a wall as well it makes me realise that the garment doesn't have to be on the body.
