8/02/2020 contextual review final

I was having never been active in an art field before the course brought me to these points in Central Saint Martins. There produced lots of designers I could say half of the London Fashion Week designer was from Central Saint Martins. Me as one of the students I feel so grateful and honoured to be a part of the school but sometimes the history of the school given me lots of pressure I always think that I have to give my best part to the tutor. However, sometimes things didn't come out as I expected it makes me so upset with myself.

On the first week I felt so bad about myself I think I'm not good enough to be here because my work was not meet with the brief and make many mistakes I don't have the initial ideas of the project. Pitch the ideas with the peers were not good; I couldn't clarify things I had in my head. My work comparing with peers' work. Mine was not so successful as it's lack of research and initials ideas. I couldn't be delivered the main approaches to the audience.

After a while, the adaptation of myself was getting better than before I figure out the main ideas of being in a foundation course is an excellent opportunity for me to experiment about the subject, materials, etc. I have to know where I belong I am a newbie here I have to let myself playing around, make mistakes and get messy. So I could understand who am I what did I like what I don't, get to figure out of our own identity. Form that moment I'm letting myself having fun through the process our tutor introduce us to the various drawing technique I enjoyed the class. I never see the picture of myself having fun during the drawing.

Week two project I got to play with mixed media drawing I messed it up at first. We have to draw on peers sketchbook around the table like a carousel it turned out to be the successful one because they use the material that I didn't use it's blown me up. So I started playing around with more material that got me into the new world. I was having so much fun when since I got told to calm down from the former foundation student podcast something happens for a reason. If I let myself get into the problem sometimes, it would turn out to a very best thing and from very different perspectives.

On the deconstruct object project, all I can remember is I had much good time in that project. We have to know the rule before breaking the rule of the existing garment were successful more than I expected. During Paul Kindersley's project, my deconstruct garment was in use for this project; I feel so good when someone was wearing it the colours and the shape working so well on the set. However, I made a colossal mistake I forgot to record the process which affected my sketchbook seem fast phrase. For Bianca Saunders project, it was a textile project handed from fashion designers. I am not happy about my work at all my sample doesn't reflect my main Ideas; it only reflects my stress during the project. It makes me feel I was more satisfied when I am working on the body there are things in my head. I want to try not to blank like the textiles project.
Bianca Saunders project is the project I think I should redo because I am not happy about it the most I started to think of instead of doing one city I did the whole country so it many more things I could do with it. Continue working on the research properly and do the checklist due to planing the schedule were less flexible in time I found the list was useful than the table as I feel just a bit pressure but trying not to overthink about the work. The mood could ruin everything we shouldn't think of anything during practice with the samples, and the result was successful. There are three days left before the assessment I develop the successful examples into the body. It turns into a piece of things that I would see my label would be in the future.

I used to think. It's a bit too soon to be separate into Fashion or Textiles because I am not sure about which pathways suit me. I prefer fashion at that time but when I have a chance to be diagnosed in Textiles pathway. It's allowed me to think broadly than not just a body. I got to experiment on the texture and surface. I started to question myself such as; What if this sample could be placed in a museum? What if it getting bigger so it could be an instalment? I having more excitement during thinking about it. Like an Exhibition of former ual student called "Silent Madness Mowalala" where they have a print curtain hang on the wall.

During ongoing work, I face the lacked Sleep from time to time. I have a chance to listen to The standard Podcast talking about the book called "Why we sleep" The itself said when we sleep, we have had time in another world. It gives us a chance to dream. Also, it helps us to be more productive. The lacked Sleep It increases to slow our brain down. It's worked for me. It helps me to get to the point accurately. Work is essential, but the most important part is our health. I liked to improve my life balance because sometimes I feel like I live at university library and visit the house occasionally.
